WHY GOOD MARKETING TEAMS NEED CHALLENGE
Why good marketing teams still need a fresh pair of eyes
Being good at your job does not mean you have to do it alone.
When you are close to a project, it is easy to stop noticing the things you have stopped questioning. That campaign you repeat every year. The audience you think you know. The dashboard everyone looks at without asking what it means.
A fresh pair of eyes is not there to criticise for the sake of it. It helps a team ask better questions: What is the aim? Why this channel? What might we be missing? What would we do if we started again?
That outside perspective can also give marketing managers something that is often in short supply: confidence. Having a trusted sounding board helps test a difficult decision, prioritise scarce time and give promising ideas a stronger foundation.
I love working with good marketing teams because the ideas are already there. Sometimes they simply need space, encouragement and the permission to challenge the way things have always been done.
If your team would value some fresh thinking, let’s have a conversation.
